Perl講習会@育種学会を開催しました(矢野)

本領域との協賛により、日本育種学会・第128回講演会(新潟大学、2015年9月11-12日)において、ワークショップ「Perl講習会」を開催しました。
22名の参加があり、Perlのプログラミング法、実行法、および、配列解析のためのプログラム開発を実施しました。

NGS解析手法を解説した著書を出版(矢野)

高速シーケンサー(NGS)の配列解析手法を解説した著書(Advances in the Understanding of Biological Sciences Using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Approaches)が出版されました。第1章の執筆を担当しています。

日本植物細胞分子生物学会においてバイオインフォマティクス講習会を開催(矢野)

本研究領域との共催として、第33回日本植物細胞分子生物学会(東京)大会・シンポジウム(8月10~12日)において、バイオインフォマティクス講習会を実施しました。講習会において、参加者は持ち込んだノートPCで、Perlの構築・実行方法を実習しました。2.5時間と限られた時間でしたが、配列情報処理などの基礎まで実施することができました。
